Located around the Pulomas Residence, the Jakarta International Equestrian Park (JIEP) is claimed as the biggest equestrian sport venue in Southeast Asia. It is because JIEP has the land area of 35-hectares and has the international quality for the field of play. JIEP has international certification from World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in Paris and from the European Union.
The arena was built in the 1970s and was renovated on August, 2016 which aims to support the 2018 Asian Games. It was inaugurated on 2 August, 2018 and was officially used as Equestrian venue for 2018 Asian Games. There were three equestrian disciplines: dressage, eventing and jumping. All three disciplines are further divided into individual and team contests for a total of six events. Not only Asian Games 2018, JIEP is also home for several international equestrian competitions with the likes of The International Horse Show 2019 and Equinara Pulomas Open 2020.
There are five arenas in JIEP, firstly is Field of Play which act as the main arena, followed by Training Arena, Warm Up Arena, Collecting Arena, and Covered Training Arena. Moreover, there are a main four-story pavilion of 1500 seating capacity, two-storied 156 capacity horse stables, athletes lodging, an animal hospital, and training places. Furthermore, the area of JIEP is also friendly for people with disabilities.

HOW TO GET THERE
JIEP can be reached by private car, motorcycle, or public transportation. If you choose public transportation like The Jakarta Light Rail Transit (Jakarta LRT), you should exit at Equestrian Station and continue by walking or you can choose online transportation to get there.
