The building that now being used as the Joang 45 Museum was built around the 1920s and was originally a hotel run by the family "L.C. Schomper ”, a Dutch national who lived in Batavia for a long time. The hotel is named Hotel Schomper after the owner's name. The hotel at that time was quite a well-known hotel in the southern suburb of Batavia.
In this museum, you can see traces of the Indonesian independence struggle with a collection of relics of Indonesian fighters.
