Gereja Sion, a.k.a. Gereja Portugis, finished its construction in 1695. Gereja Sion, with its grand, opulent architecture, underwent 2 restoration projects in 1920 and 1978. Even though it already went through restoration, this church still has a lot of history, including its 324-year-old pipe organ.
Being one of Jakarta's oldest churches, this church was designated a cultural landmark in 1988. Gereja Sion is located in Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta. Are you interested in visiting?
