House Of Si Pitung

This red-stained house is located in Marunda, North Jakarta. It turns out, Si Pitung never lived in this house. This Betawi hero only dropped by the house several times here while he was hiding from the Dutch.
This house, already designated as a historic landmark, has a parlour, veranda, bedroom, and dining room. But sadly there is not a lot of collection related to Si Pitung here. This Bugis-styled house complex is comprised of three buildings, with the first being Rumah Si Pitung and the latter two functioned as musalla, toilet, and a kiosk. Rumah Si Pitung is open every day from 8 am to 5 pm, and the entry ticket is quite cheap! Interested in visiting this house?
