Indonesiainside.id, Jakarta - The largest exhibition of handicraft products in Southeast Asia, INACRAFT 2019 (Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair) raises the culture of DKI Jakarta as an icon. Betawi as the main symbol and exhibition ambience filled the event with various arts and cultural activities until the exhibition ended on Sunday (28/4).
A variety of superior craft products from the Betawi community are also exhibited with the theme 'Jakarta Enjoyable Multicultural Diversities', along with the central theme 'From Smart Village to Global Market'. The Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) together with the Tourism and Culture Office, the KUMKM and Trade Service, and PD Pasar Jaya appeared in one pavilion area.
The DKI Pavilion displays the nuances of modern Jakarta such as the Sudirman Sidewalk pattern that adorns the floor of the pavilion, the Dukuh Atas JPO as the design of the Dekranasda stand, and JPO Gelora on the design of the KUMKM and Trade Service booth.
"This is an opportunity for Jakarta to present memorable handicrafts in the world-class handicraft festival," said DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan at the opening at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta, Wednesday (24/4).
Dekranasda included eight capital craftsmen with handicrafts and clothing products. "This opportunity is a space for craftsmen assisted by Dekranasda to showcase their best products," said Chairman of Dekranasda DKI Province, Fery Farhati.
Those who participated included Pilin Craft, Ancol Kreatif, ELEMWE, Glam, AIU Craft, Tridol Bag, Valentino, Garage Collection. They bring out the distinctive characteristics of each product to attract visitors.
Like AIU Craft, which prepares thousands of pouches with Jakarta icons that can be used as souvenirs for visitors to take home. There is also a Tridol Bag that displays its flagship wooden bags with various unique and attractive designs to be nominated in the INACRAFT Award. (* / Dry)
