At the Jakarta Pavilion in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah you will see Betawi decorations emphasizing the indigenous culture of this metropolitan city. Regular shows performing Betawi music and arts are presented regularly. There is also a library and an exhibition of the different Betawi ornaments.

Training and Education for Betawi Dance Art
In order to preserve and develop the Betawi dances, the Pavilion of Jakarta Province holds a training for Betawi dances in two cycles. The first one will be held in January to March and the second one will be from July to September. The participants will be classified into four age category starting from three years old to senior citizen age and they are considered having sufficient skill in Betawi dance.

Gedung Kesenian Jakarta is a heritage building from Dutch colonial days, where artists regularly perform traditional and modern drama, concerts, and musicals. Built in 1821 its construction is in neo-renaissance style and was called the Theater Schouwburg Weltevreden or the Pasar Baru Theater since it is located just across the popular Pasar Baru shopping center.
