Setu Babakan or the Babakan Lake is located at Jagakarsa. The area is specially earmarked for the preservation and advancement of Betawi – the indigenous in habitants of Jakarta - arts and culture. Here the various Betawi arts and cultural expressions are regularly performed. You can also see an authentic Betawi house, watch traditional rites and ceremonies, enjoy the many Betawi food and delicacies, and relax by the cool lakeside.
