Yanuar (38), security officer of Pos dan Giro Office, said the damage is caused by illegal parking. There is still no response from related unit about this matter.
“The condition is neglected for about two years,” he said, Wednesday (8/31).
Meanwhile, Kota Tua UPK Head, Noviar S Husodo, admitted his side takes the responsibility of the area. Street vendor in the area will be relocated to Jalan Cengkeh soon.
His side will deploy 30 freelancers and 12 cleanliness personnel to arrange the damaged paving blocks.
“We’ll also propose to install fence to keep the area free from illegal parking and street vendor,” he admitted.
