Foreign Students Learn Culture and Tourism in Tidung Island

Dozens of foreign student from 15 countries participating the celebration of independence day in Tidung Island, Seribu Island.

Chairman of OC from Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (AIESEC) President University, Fadli, said the visiting was aimed to see local citizens tradition in celebrating the independence day.

“The students want to know the local tourism and culture to be brought to international world,” he said, Wednesday (8/17).

According to him, they also visiting local library for sharing with the locals.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Fadil, added the students will be also acknowledged to local tourism such as in Tidung Kecil Island like agro-tourism, Pandita King grave, whale skeleton, Jembatan Cinta, and snorkelling.

“They will plant mangrove at the beach with local college students,” he closed.
