Holds AJTM 2019, Asita Targets 300 Potential Buyers

 
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com - The Indonesian Travel Agent Association (Asita) will hold the Asita Jakarta Travel Mart (AJTM) 2019. The event with the theme "Get In Touch, Get Business Deals!" Is expected to bring business to business (B2B) transactions to encourage the growth of the tourism sector in various regions.
 
The 2019 AJTM Committee Chairman, Jongki Adiyasa, said that the activity planned to take place on September 24-26, 2019 at Harris Vertu Hotel Harmoni, Jakarta, would also be followed by travel agents from other regions, they would meet and offer various tourism products in the region.
 
"There will be 100 sellers who will offer a variety of products ranging from hotels, tourism objects, restaurants, travel agents, to catering," Jongki said through his press release, Friday (06/09/2019). He continued, since it was first held in 2016, this year was the fourth year that AJTM had been held.
 
This event has also been ratified by the Jakarta City Government Tourism and Culture Office and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia.
 
AJTM not only facilitates the sale and purchase of tourist destination packages between Buyers and Sellers, but also introduces and disseminates Betawi Culture icons to participating Sellers both from within and outside the country.
 
The event is also expected to help even the dissemination of the Betawi Culture icons evenly, initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Culture Office.
 
"While for buyers there are 300 potential buyers. Our concept of business to business is not directly to the customer, "he concluded.
 
Jongki said that AJTM 2019 is a routine event held annually, as an effort to encourage the growth of the tourism sector including the province's tourist visits.
 
He added, the whole series of AJTM activities was carried out by self-help and supported by several sponsors. With this activity that is getting bigger every year, ASITA DKI Jakarta hopes that in the coming years AJTM will become a tourism exhibition event which is one of the international events in the Indonesian Capital City, of course the government participation will be able to turn this hope into reality.
