More than 300,000 people have packed the Ragunan Zoo, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta since Friday (6/7) until this afternoon.
Besides the shady area, they can educate children about various kinds of animals.
Ragunan Zoo Promotion and Business Development Executing Unit Head, I Ketut Widarsana noted, on Friday (6/7), the number of visitors reached 107,598 people and increased to 171,716 on Saturday (6/8).
"And then hits 67,823 on Sunday (6/9) at 11 AM," he expressed, Sunday (6/9).
The zoo itself has 2,100 animals and 52,000 trees. "Especially along Eid holiday, those animals get food in a giant ketupat-shaped," he told.
He also urged the visitors to always maintain public order and cleanliness of the zoo area. "As well as watch their children," he stated.
