A total of 15 pairs of finalists attend the Final Night of Abang None (Abnon) of South Jakarta at Sarbini Hall, Friday (4/5) night. In this event, Faris Ahmad Satriaperdana and Athalla Hardian was crowned Abnon South Jakarta 2018.
Both get development funds and scholarships each of Rp 45 million and Rp 50.8 million as well as a tourism ambassador in South Jakarta. South Jakarta Mayor Tri Kurniadi hopes that the winners of this event can raise tourism in South Jakarta to be better known to the public.
"Congratulations to the winner, let us develop tourism in South Jakarta by promoting local culture," he said on Saturday (5/5). Tri also hopes Abnon South Jakarta can regain the overall champion in the level of DKI Jakarta Province 2018. Later three best pairs at city level will be sent to provincial level. According to Tri, beside to being South Jakarta tourism ambassador, Abnon was elected also acted as a sports ambassador. They will be involved in the sports program and the 2018 Asian Games.
Meanwhile, Head of Sub-Dept Tourism and Culture (Parbud) of South Jakarta, Nursyam Daoed revealed, 15 pairs of Abnon had previously been show off their skills in front of the jury. The result, three pairs were selected of Abnon will represent South Jakarta drove to the provincial level. "Three pairs of city-level winners will compete with the Abnon of all DKI at the provincial level and we hope they will be able to bring the name of South Jakarta," he said.
