The city administration welcomed the cooperation with the United States (US) Embassy to commemorate the Right To Know Day (RTKD) that dedicated to commemorate the freedom of information worldwide.
Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda), Tuti Kusumawati asserted, the city administration very supports the freedom of information programs throughout the world that held every September 28.
"The city administration is very committed for governance in transparent and accountable to the disclosure of information and data," she stated, at America Pacific Place on 3rd floor, Jl Jenderal Sudirman Kav 52-53, South Jakarta, Wednesday (9/28).
He added, at this time, the city administration has uploaded 900 data and 2,800 files through www.jakarta.go.id and can be accessed freely.
"Even from the planning process from the RW level, we also all been uploaded, without login and user and is free to the public," he expressed.
US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Jakarta, Brian Mcfeeters, in Indonesia especially for the city administration has been transparent and a lot of information that can be accessed.
"We strongly support and glad there is concern regarding the information and transparency that is good for society," he disclosed.
