After South East Asia English Olympics (SEO) last year, Binus University upgraded the level of the competition into Asian. This is an annual English Olympic held by Binus University year to year and has resounded throughout Indonesia and some neighbouring countries.
Asian English Olympics (AEO) has come to its fourth year after it was first held in 2012 hosted by BINUS English Club (BNEC). For the past previous years, AEO had been successfully improving participants’ English skills, given meaningful experiences to be remembered in their youth, and broadened the networking of participants across Asia.
The 2015 AEO “Tribe of Aces” will be held on February 10th – 14th, 2015. With the theme “Tribe of Aces”, BNEC aim to build a new family consists of individuals with their own specialty in certain fields, being the precious ace of their origin and proudly embrace the honour of it as the representatives with objective to enrich themselves by competing in this Olympics.
This year Olympics will be completely fun and exciting to dare participants in Debate, Newscasting, Scrabble, Short Story Writing, Speech, Spelling Bee, and Story Telling. As an Olympic, there will be an ‘Institutional Champion’ title for varsity/high school. Every delegate who wins in AEO will get accumulated point to be crowned as ‘Institutional Champion’.
This English Olympics is one of BINUS English Club’s (BNEC) most prestigious events. Established in 1992, BNEC has been widely acknowledged not only for its achievements in many national and international competitions, but also for its ability to create many prestigious events.
