The prestigious PATA Gold Awards 2016 presentation, one of the main highlights always eagerly awaited by the travel industry, will take place during PATA Travel Mart 2016, to be held from 7th to 9th September 2016 with venue the brand new ICE Convention and Exhibition Center in the district of Tangerang, at the outskirts of Indonesia’s capital city, Jakarta.
To vie for the awards, PATA provides the opportunity to all tourism stakeholders and related business to be acknowledged in the PATA Gold Awards. Towards this purpose, PATA invites all Tourism organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the successful promotion of the travel industry throughout the Asia Pacific region to submit entries before the deadline on 29th April 2016.
The Pacific Asia Travel Association Gold Awards recognizes exceptional achievements in a variety of endeavors, acknowledging and rewarding the very best that the Asia Pacific’s travel industry has to offer. The winning projects exemplify industry standards for excellence and innovation, for others to follow.
Evaluated and Judged by panels of travel industry experts, the Gold Awards recognize exceptional achievements in seven broad categories with 29 Gold Awards and four Grand Awards on offer, comprising Gold Awards for:
- Marketing Campaigns (eight Gold Awards and one Grand Award)
- The Environment (three Gold Awards and one Grand Award)
- Corporate Social Responsibility (one Gold Award)
- Heritage & Culture (two Gold Awards and one Grand Award)
- Education & Training (one Gold Award and one Grand Award)
- Marketing Media (ten Gold Awards)
- Travel Journalism (four Gold Awards)
All award recipients will be honored at the PATA Gold Awards Luncheon and Presentation on 9th September 2016, at the PATA Travel Mart 2016 at the Indonesia Convention and Exhibition Center (ICE) BSD, in the district of Tangerang. They will also be on display at the Mart for all delegates to witness and appreciate. All winners will also receive complimentary copies of the PATA Gold Awards 2016 winners’ showcase booklet that summarizes the highlights of each winning entry.
Winning a PATA Gold Award will certainly give a major boost to an organization’s marketing and public relations profile.
