Jakarta, October 31, 2017- This year the award of "Indonesia PR Of The Year" held by MIX-Marketing Communication Magazine enters its 11th year. More Public Relations (PR) programs are being sent to participate in this contest, reaching 130 programs this year. More and more prominent public relations figures are netted by journalists polls, so they are named Spoke Person of The Year, People's PR of The Year, CorComm, and CorSec Team of The Year.

The PR Indonesia People of the Year 2017 award was awarded to PR leaders based on a poll of 50 journalists from print, online, television and radio. Polling is done in two stages, namely the name selection stage to get the shortlist PR People's choice of journalists, and the second stage of finalization through a poll with the shortlist PR People in closed questions.

In accordance with the aspirations of the journalists (as respondents), this year we awarded the Spoke Person Award to two levels of positions, namely CEO and Vice President (VP). To encourage more PR People who are motivated by this appreciation, we reward each of these to two to three selected people - except for the category of Indonesia Best Corporate Secretary / Corporate Communication Team 2017. Meanwhile, at "Indonesia PR Program of the Year 2017", we combine the Media Relations category into the PR Marketing Program. The reason, because the objective of entries Media Relations program almost entirely marketing (for brand image, brand loyalty and others). Another reason is because the number of entries in the Media Relations category is not sufficient to create its own category. In its eleventh year of execution, PR Program of The Year was followed by approximately 130 entries participating in five categories.

The five categories are: CREATIVE PR, which is creative programs to build corporate image and reputation, including programs to handle crisis and internal PR programs; PR MARKETING, a PR program aimed at marketing; SOCIAL PR, a communications program developed through corporate social initiatives or CSR programs-so the assessment focuses on how the company communicates its CSR program, not just its CSR program; and OWNED MEDIA, which are owned and managed by organizations to support the development of corporate image and reputation including In-House Magazine, News Letter, Blog, Website, and Social Media. For this category, we separate Magazine and News Letter from the Website.
