Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, has his own expectations in the city's 489th anniversary, which falls on June 22. One of them is want to build more flats in order to relocate people living in slums.

"My target is must build 50,000 flats every year," said Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (6/21).

He also expected could also build more Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA). Because, its existence can attract people to gather and know each other.

"I will also build more RPTRAs thus our people have a gathering site," he disclosed.

In transportation sector, he admitted wanted to develop rail-based mass transit. It is trusted able to overcome traffic jam.

"If it is not developed, car volume in Jakarta will increase between 300-400 units per day," he finished.
