Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama inaugurated the Dipenogoro Park, Jl Diponegoro, Kenari, Senen, Central Jakarta, Thursday (10/20) afternoon.

Previously, the 800-square-meter width land was used as gas station (SPBU) and stall by street vendor (PKL).

"It's hoped the residents from the pregnant and the elderly can gather in the park and stay in touch. The important thing is the park already has CCTV and street light for security," he expressed, at Diponegoro Park, Thursday (10/20).

His party hoped the park and green open space (RTH) in Jakarta continues to grow and residents also contribute to treat and maintain it. Currently, Jakarta Provincial Government and private party continues to build the RTH and RPTRA.

"Every park that built must be characterized by the philosophy and history of its own, thus residents can enjoy the beauty of the park," he said.

Basuki added, its construction uses corporate social responsibility (CSR).
